“PM Modi Likens Congress to ‘Kadwa Karela’ in Maharashtra Rally”

top-news

During a rally in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi drew a sharp analogy, comparing the Congress party to a “kadwa karela” (bitter gourd), emphasizing that the party’s inherent traits remain unchanged regardless of external circumstances. Modi’s statement reflected his belief that the Congress is incapable of transformation and symbolized it as an enduring source of bitterness.

Highlighting historical and contemporary issues, PM Modi criticized the Congress, holding it responsible for various challenges faced by India, including the Partition, Kashmir conflict, Naxalism, and opposition to the Ram temple construction. He characterized the Congress as the “source of all problems” and suggested that it lacks the capability to address national issues effectively.

The Prime Minister contrasted the BJP-NDA’s proactive and decisive governance approach with what he portrayed as the Congress-INDIA Alliance’s propensity for exploiting the nation. He framed the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 as a choice between stability and instability, portraying the BJP as a force for positive change and progress.

The rally, held in Chandrapur, targeted voters in the Vidarbha region, where BJP candidates Sudhir Mungantiwar and Ashok Nete are contesting for the Chandrapur and ST-reserved Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha seats, respectively. These constituencies are among the first to vote in the upcoming elections on April 19.
